Facility for generating electricity from solar energy

The installation has a heat engine (5) producing electricity by using a hot source (2) and a cold source (4), and heating units (6) constituted by solar collectors with a vacuum tube for heating a heat transfer fluid i.e. water (8), from solar energy. A transport circuit (12) transports the water and connects the heating units, heat energy storage units (10) and the heat engine. A condenser (62) passes a service fluid (54) i.e. butane, from a gaseous state to a liquid state from the cold source. The storage units use a latent heat of fusion of a phase change material (18).
