A rotary type switching valve for converting oil passage and pressure control system for automatic transmission provided with the same are provided to simplify the configuration of the oil-hydraulic circuit by selectively controlling the traffic relation between the connection duct and the output port. The valve body(12) is installed at the valve body(10). The input port(14) is formed in the valve body to apply the trigger pressure to inside. The flow passage is formed in the axial direction in the valve body. The flow passage is connected to the input port. The output port(18) is formed in the radial direction to the shaft axis of the valve body. The flow passage is communicated with the output port. The driving means controls the rotation angle and speed of rotation of the valve body. The output port is formed in the radial direction to the radial direction of the valve body.
