Methods and systems for determining efficacy of medicaments

A method for determining the efficacy of a medicament comprises selecting first and second scar portions wherein the first scar portion has been treated with a medicament. A pair of images corresponding to first and second scar portions is generated and displayed. A recording element comprising fist and second recording portions is provided, wherein first recording portion comprises a plurality of points indicating that scarring in the first image is less severe than scarring in the second image, and the second recording portion comprises a plurality of second points indicating that scarring in the second image is less severe than scarring in the first image. Each of the first and second points has different associated values. Data identifying one of the points is received and analysed to determine the efficacy of the medicament.
