POWER BRANCHING POWER TRAIN AND INFINITELY VARIABLE HYBRID TRANSMISSION HAVING THREE PLANETARY GEARSETS ON A SINGLE LINE

The transmission has a reduction stage, and three epicyclic planetary gearsets (G1-G3) aligned on a heat engine of a hybrid vehicle. Two electrical machines (ME1, ME2) are aligned on the gearsets and the engine. The machines are deported laterally with respect to the alignment of the engine and the gearsets. One of the planetary gearsets (G3) remote from the engine is associated to a mode changing system (C). The gearset (G3) near to the engine ensures distribution of torque provided by the engine between power lines.
