FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to making electrodes for surface spark machining. Mould press 7 is filled with electrode material powder 11 for it to be compacted to form porous powder moulded piece 27. Said porous powder moulded piece is places in chamber 25 of heat treatment furnace 23 to heat chamber to remove wax contained in said piece and evacuate said chamber to preset vacuum. Mixed gas including inert gas as primary component and hydrogen gas is fed into chamber 25, heated in furnace 23 and blown to compacted powder piece 27. Compacted powder piece is heated by mixed gas convection flow heat and sintered. ^ EFFECT: almost uniform variation of specific impedance in depth from surface to electrode centre. ^ 4 cl, 5 dwg |
