FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: operating method of internal combustion engine involves repetitive cycles of gas compression/expansion strokes in the first and the second capacities and charging of capacities in each cycle with inlet charge of flammable mixture at gas exchange. In addition, pressure of gases compressed in compression stroke is increased with fuel burnt in them. Cavity of each capacity is filled with gases in upper part and with water in lower part. Gases expanding due to fuel combustion in the cavity with gases of the first capacity displace the water from that capacity to hydraulic motor through the first channel. At the same time, water is transported from hydraulic motor through its second channel to the second capacity by decreasing the volume of cavity with gases in it. Gases expanding due to fuel combustion in the cavity with gases of the second capacity displace the water from that capacity to hydraulic motor through its second channel. At the same time, water is transported from hydraulic motor through its first channel to the first capacity by decreasing the volume of capacity with gases in it. Internal combustion engine includes capacities with gas of cyclic variable volume, channels and valves of gas distribution mechanism, compressor of gas exchange system, and bell crank with a flywheel. Lower part of each capacity is filled with water and interconnected through water conduit to rotary hydraulic motor so that the first capacity is interconnected with the first channel of rotary hydraulic motor, and the second capacity is interconnected with the second channel of the same rotary hydraulic motor. Shaft with rocker of bellcrank-rocker mechanism is connected to shaft of hydraulic motor. Its bellcrank is kinematically connected to gas distribution mechanism. ^ EFFECT: increasing the pressure at fuel combustion and reducing losses at compression/expansion at long-term operation. ^ 2 cl, 7 dwg |
