<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve installation and maintenance at low cost by eliminating information exchange and movable portions between a platform gate and a train without impairing safety in an urgent case, and to ensure safety even in an urgent case without interference with getting on/off. <P>SOLUTION: The platform gate is composed a platform side partition fence and a train side partition fence in Fig.1. An approach is formed by shifting and installing the train side partition fence to a nearer side to a train entrance relative to a gate composed of the platform side partition fence. On the contrary, a person who gets off a train passes between the two train side partition fences and reaches a platform, passing through a passage 4. These traffic lines correspond to the psychology of a person who gets on or off a train, and the psychology which causes the gate to be an obstacle becomes minor. Moreover, even if a train does not stop at a proper position in an urgent case, a sufficient space exists between the train and the gate, thus achieving an escape from the train. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
