PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide possibility of inspection for a pressure adjustment device in a housing cover of an electric drive device suitable for simply and surely inspecting a plurality of pressure adjustment devices by improving a housing cover 10; 7 for a transmission device housing 14 of an electric drive device 9 including a pressure adjustment device 12 for compensating a pressure difference between an inner chamber of the transmission device housing 14 closed by the housing cover 10; 7 and the circumference thereof.

SOLUTION: A seal element 19; 46 is at least partially arranged in a region of a pressure adjustment device 12 in the housing cover 10; 7, and the seal element 19; 46 is designed to seal a connection part between an inspection tool 23: 30; 40 and the housing cover 10; 7 during functional inspection of the pressure adjustment device 12.
