<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for manufacturing a light source capable of manufacturing a high-efficiency light source even when an optical element having a characteristic remarkably varying with temperature is used by solving a problem wherein, when a laser device and a wavelength conversion element are joined to each other without appropriately controlling the temperatures of such optical elements, the positions of the optical elements can not be appropriately adjusted, and thereby a high-efficiency light source can not be provided. <P>SOLUTION: After maintaining temperatures of a laser device and a wavelength conversion element at values where the outputs of light rays respectively emitted from the laser device and the wavelength conversion element are set equal to or larger than predetermined ratios to the maximum outputs, the laser device and the wavelength conversion element whose temperatures have been maintained so that the output of the light emitted from the wavelength conversion element is set equal to or larger than a predetermined value are joined together. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
