PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method for an anhydrosugar alcohol, capable of stably recovering a high quality product at a high yield without being influenced by the environment during production. SOLUTION: The purification method for an anhydrosugar alcohol comprises a process for drying a crude anhydrosugar alcohol to decrease its water content to 0.3 wt.% or lower, a process for dissolving the dried crude anhydrosugar alcohol with a water content of 0.3 wt.% or lower in an aliphatic alcohol, a process for cooling the resultant crude anhydrosugar alcohol solution to 0-25°C to precipitate crystals, and a process for separating the precipitated anhydrosugar alcohol crystals from the solution.
