PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disturbance of pressure control of a steam header caused by mutual interference between systems, and stably control a pressure of the steam header. SOLUTION: The power plant 1 includes an intermittent operation steam flow rate detection means 18 for detecting a steam flow rate of an intermittent operation system 5, a power generation line steam flow rate detection means 11 for detecting a steam flow rate of the power generation line system 6, and an opening correction means for correcting an opening of a pressure regulating valve 7 to the steam header 4 and regulating a steam flow rate to the steam header 4 based on the steam flow rate of the intermittent operation system 5 and the steam flow rate of the power generation line system 6.
