PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and efficiently producing PLGA(lactic acid-glycolic acid copolymer) nanoparticles passable through a membrane filter for sterilization-by-filtration. SOLUTION: The method comprises the following process: using an aqueous polyvinyl alcohol solution as a poor solvent, a good solvent solution prepared by dissolving at least a medicament and PLGA in a good solvent comprising a mixture of acetone and ethanol is added to the poor solvent to form the objective PLGA nanoparticles by spherical crystallization technique. In this process, the concentration of the PLGA in the good solvent and poor solvent is made respectively 6 mg/mL or lower; and the good solvent is distilled off from the resultant nanoparticle-containing solution to obtain a PLGA nanoparticle suspension.
