The unit has a synchronous motor (5) enclosed in a housing (1), and a planetary gear (11) accommodated in an inner side of the housing, where the housing is supported by the gear and the motor, on respective sides. The planetary gear comprises a sun wheel that forms a drive connection with a drive shaft (10) of the motor. The brake unit is formed by a lamella brake (15), and the drive shaft is partitioned by a torque measuring system (16). The housing is implemented as a drive hub and a rope drum.
