The method involves positioning the basic rotor (10) in an electrolyte (15) and electrochemical machining of a basic rotor to form recesses (22) in the rotor, by moving the working electrodes (17) relative to the basic rotor. The unmachined blades (21) of the rotor is machined to form suction and pressure side hydrodynamic surfaces. An independent claim is also included for manufacturing device of integrated bladed rotors.
