<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate setting of whether to copy an original consisting of a plurality of chapters for each chapter, when the original is copied. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus 102 copies image data read from the original consisting of a plurality of pages to paper and outputs the copied image data. The image forming apparatus 102 is equipped with at least: a chapter number mark detection means 109 for detecting chapter number marks printed in advance on the original; a chapter unit management means 106 for recognizing chapter number information from the detected chapter number and managing the original image data in units of chapter; a copy range selection means 113 for selecting a copy object range of the original image data in units of chapter; and an image output means 117 for performing image output based on the chapter number information recognized by the chapter unit management means 106 and the copy object range selected in units of chapter by the copy range selection means 113. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
