PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rust-preventing cover, capable of inexpensively preventing a cut surface of an existing fluid pipe from rusting. SOLUTION: The rust-preventing cover 5 to be held in contact with a cut surface 1a of an annularly cut existing fluid pipe 1 for rust-prevention of the cut surface 1a includes an annular rust-preventing portion 5a which abuts on the cut surface 1a over the whole circumference, and a plurality of locking portions 5c each of which is engagingly locked on only one of an outer peripheral surface 1b or inner peripheral surface of the existing fluid pipe 1 by allowing the rust-preventing portion 5a to abut on the cut surface 1a.
