<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial product that is highly safe, can be prepared at a low cost, can be readily compounded or mixed with a raw material of a ceramic or a glaze and does not deteriorate various characteristics (mechanical characteristics etc.) of the ceramic etc. <P>SOLUTION: The antibacterial product is obtained by firing a mixture prepared by kneading the raw material of the ceramic and an antibacterial powder.
