<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure for a cable-connecting closure, which can prevent a sealing effect from being degraded due to thermal expansion and thermal contraction in a seal rubber. <P>SOLUTION: In the seal structure for the cable-connecting closure, end face plates having cable insertion holes are detachably engaged with both end surfaces of a cylindrical sleeve encapsulating the surrounding of a cable connection portion. Two-sectioned outer cylinders 25, each of which are engaged with the corresponding cable insertion hole, are detachably mounted on the end face plates. The circular seal rubber 41 is attached to the inside of the outer cylinder 25, wherein the circular seal rubber has a slit and is externally inserted into a cable 81. A seal cap 43 is fixed to the outer cylinder 25 with a tightening member, wherein the seal cap supports the seal rubber 41 while coming into pressure contact with the seal rubber in a direction going along the axial center of the cable.
