<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system suppressing an error rate of detecting a packet trasmitted from a terminal attacking the system and simultaneously specifying the packet within the same session for specifying the source transmiting the packet. <P>SOLUTION: Packet hash recording devices La, Lb intercept packets, create first packet specification information from information different for each packet, create second packet specification information from information common for each session and store the created information. A trace-back manager device M creates the first packet specification information from the information different for each packet using a trace target packet, creates the second packet specification information from the information common for each session, and transmits a passing confirmation request message to the packet hash recording devices La, Lb.
