<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus that obtains high-quality images which have been subjected to proper defect-correction and scaling processing, and achieves reduction in circuit scale and low power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: a weight coefficient calculating unit 12 that calculates a weight coefficient for scaling processing to input pixel to which a signal value as image data is input; a defect-correction-coefficient switching unit 13 that performs switching of the weight coefficient for defect-correction for a defect-correction target pixel in which a defect is detected; and a convolution operation unit 10 that performs a convolution operation by using weighting factor groups including the weight coefficient that has already been switched in the defect-correction-coefficient switching unit 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
