PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal continuously variable transmission capable of preventing deterioration of strength in the case of providing an oil passage, which discharges lubricating oil to a peripheral surface of a power roller brought into contact with an input and an output side disks, in a trunnion. SOLUTION: In a trunnion 15 of this toroidal continuously variable transmission, a through-hole 15a is provided in four corner parts outside of a central part opposite to a power roller 11 through a thrust ball bearing 24. The through-hole 15a is formed into a straight line shape nearly along the rotary shaft direction of the power roller 11. A tubular member 110 for supplying the lubricating oil to a peripheral surface 11a of the power roller 11 brought into contact with an input side disk 2 and an output side disk 3 through an oil film is inserted into the through-hole 15a, and fixed. The tubular member 110 sends the lubricating oil from a driving rod 29 side under the trunnion 15 to the peripheral surface 11a of the power roller 11 through the through-hole 15a.
