PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guiding plate machining device capable of highly accurately keeping positioning accuracy of a recessed pattern formed on the surface side or the reverse surface side of a main surface of a light guiding plate, even if an installation error is caused when installing an ultrasonic machining hone, an ultrasonic machine tool in the device, in light guiding plate machining. SOLUTION: This light guiding plate machining device includes a machining base part for fixing a light guiding plate base material being a base material before being formed on the light guiding plate, an ultrasonic machining part for forming the recessed pattern by partially heating and melting the main surface by vibration of an ultrasonic wave by allowing a projection of the ultrasonic machining hone to abut on the main surface of the light guiding plate base material. an ultrasonic machining position correcting part for correcting a starting position of ultrasonic machining to the light guiding plate base material by determining a difference by comparing with a reference position by recognizing a specific position of a machining surface of the ultrasonic machining hone, and a moving mechanism part for relatively moving the ultrasonic machining part to the light guiding plate base material and the ultrasonic machining position correcting part.
