Terapeutic or prophylactic agents or bacteria-mediated infectious diseases have been demanded, each of which comprises a genetically modified antibody capable of binding specifically to ganglioside GD3 that is a glycolipid expressed in a bacterium and having an activity of removing the bacterium from the body of a living organism. Thus, disclosed is a therapeutic or prophylactic agent for bacteria-mediated infectious diseases, which comprises a genetically modified antibody capable of binding specifically to ganglioside GD3 as an active ingredient.
