PURPOSE: An anti-theft reading stand for a public library is provided to enable a user to close a unit desk of a public library in a current state and to prevent theft. CONSTITUTION: An anti-theft reading stand for a public library comprises: a desk; a center partition installed in the upper center of the desk in a traverse direction; a plurality of side partitions installed around the center partition in the vertical direction; and a partition for opening and closing which is fixed to the center partition and ascends or descends according to user's need.
