LOCALIZATION APPARATUS AND LOCALIZATION METHOD FOR UNMANNED AUTONOMOUS FORKLIFT

PURPOSE: Position measuring apparatus and method for unmanned autonomous forklift is provided to precisely implement a position measuring operation and safely implement an unmanned autonomous forklift operation. CONSTITUTION: A global position measuring sensor(10) measures the global positioning value of an unmanned autonomous forklift. A local position measuring sensor(20) measures the angular speed and the linear speed of the unmanned autonomous forklift. A micro processor(30) combines the global positioning value and the local positioning value measured from the local position measuring sensor. The position of the unmanned autonomous forklift is calculated. A memory part(40) stores the position value of the unmanned autonomous forklift. A communication part(50) transmits the position value to a main control part.
