<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin cap which can maintain a high sealing performance, prevents unexpected removal from a bottle, and allows easy scrapping in separation from the bottle. <P>SOLUTION: The synthetic resin cap 1 includes an inner stopper 3 fitted in a mouth 2a of the bottle 2, and a spout 4 fitted on the inner stopper 3. The inner stopper 3 has a platelike overhanging portion 11 inwardly overhanging from radial one side of a fitting portion 5 fitted in the mouth 2a of the bottle 2 to cover part of the mouth 2a of the bottle 2, an opening 12 which includes the edge of the overhanging portion 11 as part of its inner peripheral edge to have a wide open area greater than the area of the overhanging portion 11, and a film 10 sealing up the opening 12. The inner stopper 3 allows a barlike object to be inserted therein through the opening 12, hooked on the lower surface of the overhanging portion 11, and swung on the upper edge of the fitting portion 5 serving as a fulcrum that is opposite to the overhanging portion 11.
