<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and a control program for the image processor for reducing power consumption by controlling power consumption according to print data to be processed. <P>SOLUTION: An input acceptance unit 21 accepts a print instruction including print data transmitted from an image information generation device 1, and when a designation time designating a time when image processing to print data included in the accepted print instruction is to be ended or the designation of image processing execution with power saving are included, the input acceptance unit 21 makes an image processing unit 22 (22-1 to 22-n) execute the image processing to a part of the print data, and calculates a time required for image processing to the whole print data on the basis of the execution result to predict the end time of the image processing to the whole print data, and calculates the operating rate of the image processing on the basis of a difference between the predicted end time and the designation time included in the print instruction or a predetermined time, and determines the operation of the image processing unit 22(22-1 to 22-n) on the basis of the calculated operating rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
