PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately obtain whether there is an object having possibility of colliding with one's own vehicle, and to prevent that a driver receives an unnecessary alarm, in a driving support device. SOLUTION: In the driving support device, a control means (3) includes a recognition determination means (3D) determining whether the driver (P) has recognized the object determined that there is the possibility of the collision by a collision possibility decision means (3C). When it is determined by the recognition determination means (3D) that the driver (P) has recognized the object, the control means performs control not to output the alarm from an alarm means (9).
