PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining the conditions of producing ferrocoke, capable of determining the optimum value of the conditions (e.g., a value where the production cost comes minimum) in producing the ferrocoke. SOLUTION: The method comprises the following procedure: first, the relationship between respective production conditions (feedstocks' initial moisture contents, each of the amounts of the feedstocks to be used, heating machine combustion gas calorie, the amount of a binder to be added) and respective constrained conditions (the input-side temperature of a molding machine, the mechanical strength of a molded product, production level) are mutually related into a mathematical function from actual results data to prepare a relationship formula of the production conditions/constrained conditions; secondly, by varying the values of the respective production conditions, the values of the constrained conditions in these cases are found from the relationship formula of the production condition/constrained conditions, and these values meet within predetermined condition ranges, the values of the respective production conditions with a predetermined assessment value (production cost) coming to a minimum are searched and determined.
