The invention relates to a solar cell (10) and a solar module and to a method for producing a solar cell (10) according to the invention and a solar module according to the invention, and to solar cells or solar modules by means of which high current flow is made possible, and thus the power losses in the solar cell (10) can be minimized, wherein the solar cell comprises a topographical rear face. In production methods, the process steps are adapted to a solar cell and/or a solar cell module. A solar cell (10) according to the invention is designed such that the technical properties thereof can be implemented in additional or modified process steps according to the invention, based on previously known process steps, in a simple and cost-effective manner. To this end, the rear face wafer surface of a solar cell (10) according to the invention is designed in an advantageous division, having a contact structure (11) that also allows for a simpler production of cells and modules. The long-term stability of a solar cell (10) and thus of a solar module can also be improved. In particular, a solar cell (10) according to the invention comprises a different contact structure (11) deviating from the conventionally generated comb-like structures, allowing simple production and advantageous contacting, even for large area solar modules.
