A method for providing a phonebook in a mobile terminal and a mobile terminal for performing the method are provided. The method for providing a phonebook in the mobile terminal includes displaying a phonebook list, searching, if a phonebook entry is selected from the phonebook entry list, for linkage information representing a specific phonebook entry, building a relationship diagram based on the linkage information, and displaying the relationship diagram graphically. |
