<p>The method involves controlling a drive strand (2) by a control unit (3). Parameters e.g. environment parameters, vehicle parameters, vehicle operating parameters and/or distance parameters, are detected and transferred to the control unit. The parameters are forecasted by driving phases of a vehicle (1). The parameters are determined by the control unit whether an imminent unpowered driving phase of the vehicle is present. A consumption-reduced operating mode is determined when the unpowered driving phase is present and the drive strand is controlled depending on the mode.</p> |
