<p>A structure for the lower part of a vehicle, provided with: a side member's inner section (30) which is a pillar member; a rear side member (4); and a side member's outer section (1). The structure is also provided, for example, with a partition (2) which serves as a load transmission member. The load transmission member is inserted between the side member's inner section (30) and the rear side member (4) and which makes contact with the vehicle interior-side wall surface of the side member's outer section (1). The partition (2) preferably has a layered structure composed of members (21, 22, etc.). Also preferably, the structure is provided with reinforcement members (50, 51).</p> |
