PURPOSE: A vehicle body structure for improving the hardness of a vehicle roof is provided to reinforce the strength of the ceiling and side surfaces of a vehicle using a reinforcing member. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle body structure for improving the hardness of a vehicle roof comprises center pillars(100), a roof rail(200), and a reinforcing member(300). The roof rail is located at the top of the center pillars. The reinforcing member is formed in a reverse U-shape. Both ends of the reinforcing member are coupled to the top of the center pillars. The reinforcing member is composed of a hydro-forming member with a box cross section.
