Gastight connection - between a rotating and a stationary tube

The tubes are coaxially and releasably connected by a screw cap. A flanged tube contg. a sealant is connected to the rotating tube and extends into the stationary tube. Pref. an annular chamber filled with silicone oil surrounds part of the stationary tube and Teflon (RTM) sealing rings arranged between the stationary tube and the flanged tube. Pref. rotating tube and flanged tube are lined with Teflon (RTM).
