<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a link spring device which allows a spring pressure adjustment mechanism of the link spring device to be arranged as an internal mechanism of the link spring device, thereby allowing a whole chair to be made more simple and compact than before, and to provide a chair for a motion aid including the link spring device. <P>SOLUTION: The link spring device 20 having the link mechanism constituted by combining a plurality of link units 201-204 intersected in an X shape includes a guide member 240. When the link spring device 20 is extended/contracted, the guide member 240 guides along circular arcuate curved surfaces 241, the lower ends of the link plates 215a, 215b of the link members 211a, 211b which are arranged at the bottom of the link mechanism.
