<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection device of a locking device for a vehicle having a simple structure which makes it difficult to break open a shutter. <P>SOLUTION: In the protection device of the locking device for the vehicle, an opening 25 is formed in a housing 2 at the part corresponding to a key hole. A cover 3 has a cylindrical profile. An opening 33 is formed in the cover 3 at the part corresponding to the opening 25 of the housing 2. The shutter 4 is arranged movably between a closing position where the opening 33 of the cover 3 is closed and an opening position where the opening 33 of the cover 3 is opened. A holding mechanism holds the shutter 4 at the closing position. An operating part 61 of an operating member 6 projects outward from the cover 3. A ring-like part 63 of the operating member 6 is arranged integrally with the operating part 61, and has a ring-like shape. The operating member 6 is a discrete body separate from the shutter 4. The operating member 6 moves the shutter 4 from the opening position to the closing position by rotating along an inner peripheral surface of the cover 3 while being in contact with the shutter 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
