PURPOSE: A cold water supplying device capable of immediately generating cold water along with ice supplying and a controlling method using the same are provided to improve the satisfaction of a user on products by immediately supplying cold water and ice. CONSTITUTION: A cold water supplying device comprises a guide part(300) and a feed port. The guide part is arranged in an ice tray. The guide part guides the water, flowing in the ice tray, to the outside of the ice tray. The guide part is arranged in the lengthwise of the ice tray. The upper end of the guide part is arranged higher than an ice-making water level. The guide part is arranged along the inner longitudinal direction of the ice tray. The feed port supplies the water to the guide part.
