PURPOSE: An electronic paper display device and manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase high contrast ratio and to increase the reliability of the electronic paper. CONSTITUTION: First and second electrodes(111, 112) face with each other. A plurality of rotators(120) is arranged between first and second electrodes and includes optical anisotropy. An elastomer matrix block(130) surrounds the partial rotator among a plurality of rotators. An optical adhesive(140) is formed between the elastomer matrix blocks.
