QUENCHING ASSEMBLY FOR A REACTOR

PURPOSE: A quenching device for a reactor, for removing the react the heat of reaction of a reactor, is provided to form vortex in a three dimensional space of a quenching domain and to maximize the turbulence in a mixing box. CONSTITUTION: A quenching device for a reactor comprises a quenching part(31) and a mixing part(41). The quenching part comprises a fluid distributing pipe(33) and a first fluid outlet(35). The fluid branch pipe is branched from the central part in a radial direction in order to inject the quenching fluid. The first fluid outlet is formed on the floor side of the quenching part. The mixing part comprises a tapered baffle(43), a partition, and a second fluid outlet. The tapered baffle is located in the downward of the first fluid outlet. The fluid, mixed by the tapered baffle and partition, is exhausted through the second fluid outlet.
