<p>Cyclododecanoxime (I) in soln in a solvent resistant to H2SO4 and furming H2SO4 e.g. cyclohexane and having a b.p. 5-60 degrees C lower than the Beckman rearrangement temp. is led into the reaction zone and the reaction proceeds with rapid evapn of solvent. Pref. wt ratio of I to solvent is 1-100 to 1:1.</p> |
