<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit for efficiently absorbing heat of a bus bar and for miniaturizing the power unit. <P>SOLUTION: A power unit 1 includes: a power semiconductor element 2; an insulating substrate 3 mounting the power semiconductor element 2; and a bus bar 4 which is electrically connected to the power semiconductor element 2. The bus bar 4 is formed by laminating a conductive member 9, which is individually formed in a tabular sheet, and an insulating cooling member 10. Inside of the insulating cooling member 10, a groove 13 for circulating a refrigerant is formed.
