<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for covering the columnar body head of a utility pole, which holds and fixes the concrete pole of the utility pole by the action of force from at least two directions and is hard to receive deterioration effects with age. <P>SOLUTION: The mechanism for covering the columnar body head of the utility pole includes a covering member 5 having a covering portion 6 of an outer shape larger than that of the top surface of the concrete pole 2 of the utility pole 1, an extended portion 7 extended downward in the axial direction of the concrete pole 2 from the circumferential edge of the covering portion 6, and a projecting portion 8 projecting in the direction same as the direction of the extended portion 7 from the lower side surface of the covering portion 6 to be inserted under pressure into the vertical hole 3 of the concrete pole 2. The covering member 5 includes a holding means for imparting an urging force from the radial direction outside to the concrete pole 2, wherein the holding means, with its belt-like member 21 wound around the outer surface of the extended portion 7 for tightening the outer surface of the extended portion 7 with the belt-like member 21, is configured to hold, between the extended portion 7 and the projecting portion 8, the concrete pole 2 positioned therebetween. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
