<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic device in which an interface component can be arranged to be more close to a component retainer formed as a cutout or a recessed part in a sidewall of a housing. <P>SOLUTION: An interface component 7, such as a connector, is held while the interface component is sandwiched between a partition wall 2f and a protrusion 11. By the constitution, there is no need to provide a support member, such as an engagement claw, for holding the interface component 7 between the interface component 7 and the partition wall 2f.
