<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce influence of a dark current accompanied by a temperature change to enable a stable detection operation. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of sensor elements 33 are arranged in a matrix shape. In the sensor elements 33, an electric charge according to an amount of light received is generated at a photoelectric conversion element PD1. The electric charge converted by the photoelectric conversion element PD1 is accumulated in a storage node P1 (capacitative element C1), and a voltage value according to the accumulated electric charge of the storage node P1 (capacitive element C1) is output as a sensor detection signal. The voltage value of the storage node P1 is reset to a predetermined reset voltage Vrst1 by a transistor Tr1 for reset. At this time, the transistor Tr1 for reset is controlled so that the sensor elements 33 are reset at the same time over a plurality of rows.
