PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric electronic component 1 capable of absorbing an impact from the outside by a frame body 6 and preventing the intrusion of outside air to the inside of the frame body 6. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric electronic component 1 includes: a piezoelectric vibrating element 4 having a pair of electrodes 3 formed of a pair of vibrating electrode parts 3a arranged facing each other on the upper and lower surfaces of a piezoelectric substrate 2, a pair of connection electrodes 3c arranged at both ends 7 of the piezoelectric substrate 2 and extended from the upper surface or the lower surface of the piezoelectric substrate 2 through respective different end faces to the opposed lower surface or upper surface, and a pair of pull-out electrodes 3b arranged on upper and lower surfaces of the piezoelectric substrate 2, respectively, for connecting one of the connection electrodes 3c and one of the vibrating electrodes 3a and the other of the connection electrodes 3c and the other of the vibrating electrodes 3a; and the frame body 6 composed of a resin material and having a pair of recesses 5 formed at opposed positions at the inner side. In the piezoelectric vibrating element 4 being a piezoelectric electronic component 1, both the ends 7 are supported by the pair of recesses 5, and both side faces, end face and lower surface of both the ends 7 are abutted on the frame body 6.
