Use of flavin derivatives and their salts for preparing a medicament for the treatment of pathologies of the internal limiting membrane (ILM), is claimed. The flavin derivative is riboflavin or roseoflavin, which can be photodynamically degraded by a irradiation from an intra- or extravitreal light source with a wavelength of 500 nm and an effective intensity of 5 mW/cm 2>, after an intravitreal application of the ILM. The ILM or the its adjacent structures are generated by a mechanical stabilization. ACTIVITY : Ophthalmological. Test details are described but no results given. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
