Disclosed is a signal processing method wherein the signal processing comprises steps of amplitude correction processing for performing amplitude correction for amplifying or attenuating the amplitude of an input signal (Sin) toward a target amplitude using an amplitude correction amount (S5) and outputting the signal after amplitude correction as a first signal (S1); offset correction processing for performing addition or subtraction of an offset correction amount to the first signal (S1) and outputting thereof as a second signal (S2); wave detection processing for acquiring peak wave detection information (S31) and bottom wave detection information (S32) of the second signal (S2) by performing wave envelope detection to the second signal (S2); and anomaly detection processing for detecting a level anomaly if the second signal (S2) exceeds the upper limit of the input dynamic range of the wave detection processing and/or the second signal (S2) falls below the lower limit of the input dynamic range of the wave detection processing; wherein if a level anomaly is detected by the anomaly detection processing, the amplitude correction amount (S5) is acquired without using the peak wave detection information (S31) and the bottom wave detection information (S32) acquired by the wave detection processing.
