<p>PURPOSE:To increase the number of sheets of paper to be accommodated per bin by increasing the interval between each bin on the side removed from a conveying belt more than the interval between said each bin on the side close to said conveying belt. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of Z-form folded paper 15 which enters a sorter through an inlet 1 is adsorbed by a conveying belt 2 and sent to a position opposite to bins 20. The paper is then delivered to a bin faced to a delivering piece 9. The sheet of Z-form folded paper 15 delivered into the bin is housed in such a way that the Z-form folded part 15a is brought to a position of the bin whose distance from the conveying belt 2 is removed, i.e., the position where the interval between each bin is large. On the other hand, the less bulky, not Z-form folded part of the paper is housed so as to be brought to a position close to the conveying belt 2, i.e., the position where the interval between each bin is small.</p> |
