PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform access control based on the private relation of a user between databases, and to efficiently perform access control by suppressing traffic between the databases to amounts of data proportional to the number of users having the private relation.

SOLUTION: The retrieval part of an application server 1 is configured to receive the query of the retrieval of content data from a user (client 4) through the Internet 5, and to acquire the list of the identifiers of users having a private relation with the user who has requested the retrieval from a user information DB2 when retrieving the content data from a content DB3 in which the content data and the identifier of the owner of the data are stored, and to retrieve content data corresponding to the identifier of the user who has requested the retrieval and content data corresponding to the identifier included in the list by adding the identifier of the user who has requested the retrieval of the content data and the acquired list to the query of the retrieval.
